Socialism’s Callous Indifference to Life — George Bernard Shaw

Tyranny Unmasked, No. 1, George Bernard Shaw

“If we desire a certain type of civilization we must exterminate the sort of people who do not fit in.”

George Bernard Shaw was an ardent socialist, and a charter member of the socialist Fabian Society, a society formed to advance the communist revolution via patient gradualism and reform rather than by frontal assault.  Shaw, an Irish playwright, also wrote many pamphlets and speeches for the Fabians. Along with Fabian Society members Sidney and Beatrice Webb and Graham Wallas, Shaw founded the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1895.
