Charity

American Scripture

After the Nephite nation was destroyed, Moroni recorded some important teachings of his father, Mormon.

And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity is an attribute essential to salvation. It is composed of patience, kindness, thoughtfulness, unselfishness, love for fellowmen, cleanliness, and endurance.

Pick one of the attributes of charity as a personal goal for this week. As you learn to live a charitable life, you will find eternal happiness.
